Deborah Washington McDonald
Deborah genuinely cares about her clients. She has helped people relocate, move up, invest in apartments, buy a new home, and buy their very first home. Her clients always come back for more and make it a point to refer their friends, family, and coworkers.
A native of Philadelphia, Deborah majored in Communications at Pennsylvania State University. The oldest of three girls, she began singing as a child, became a soloist in the All City Choir, and acted in several college plays.
She moved to Los Angeles in the 70’s and appeared in several TV shows, commercials, and features. Perhaps Deborah's biggest break was when she was asked to audition for a disco music producer after being heard singing at her desk at KTTV. She went on to record two albums and enjoyed two Top-10 hits and one Top-40.
Though Philly is home, she’s a California girl at heart. In 1987 when her marriage ended, she and son Brandon moved to San Diego. A single mom, she sang in clubs at night and held day jobs as a legal assistant, sold jewelry, working in spas and hotels and with a chiropractor. All the while a health fanatic, Deborah enjoys kickboxing, tennis, free weights, yoga, dance, and pilates.
She became a Realtor in 1998, remarried in 2001, and has been focusing on Real Estate and serving her clients ever since. She joined the Gary Kent Team in 2000, left for a time, but missed the people at the Gary Kent Team and came back.
Because her clients know how much Deborah cares about them, they often write her notes thanking her for her help. Some recent quotes…
